NO CAM FREERACE
The Fire offers all the performance of a race sail, but without the hassles of cambers. Easy to rig, easy to waterstart and easy to gybe, yet with huge top speed potential, thanks to its 7 tube-rod battens. Modifications to the outline and aspect ratio helped increase the power, for improved drive at the low end, whilst the increased negative leech curve helps to keep the power low in the sail where it can be easily controlled. The addition of the Power clew further increases the range with the option of 2 outhaul positions; Outer position for power and drive and inner position for control and ease of use. Lock it down and accelerate to breath-taking speeds with its electric power delivery and effortless performance.

John Skye NOTES
“Another favourite in the tests the Fire is perfect for getting maximum speeds with minimum effort. The ease of use and easy control of the Fire make it possible for anyone to go fast without the physicality of a race sail. With the addition of our new Power clew, we further increased the tuning range of the sail by offering a choice between increased power or increased control, depending on the conditions.”

6.8 Fire MK5 Test
“During our GPS speed tests, the testers were fighting over the RRD to maximise their speeds. Among the favourites to go fast, the Fire has an excellent ratio of power and performance without being physically in hand. The power from the sail makes it possible to plane early, to accelerate and reach maximum speed with minimum effort.”
